Top 5 : Coloured Biker Jackets
My favourite thing that I own in my wardrobe is my Schott Leather Jacket (see similar here). It’s practically a second skin and it will be handed down as a family heirloom!
It’s my most recommended piece for adding edge into your wardrobe.
However the classic black biker leather jacket can often be too harsh, especially heading into spring so with this in mind I’d recommend investing in a coloured biker jacket.
The exciting thing about this shape is that it is everywhere, in many different guises. It is such a classic that most brands have their version. Meaning whatever your budget or taste or brand affiliation you can find the one that is right for you.
There are benefits to both the lower and more affordable price points. You have to decide what you need from the jacket. The cheaper high street end of the scale allow you to have seasonal updates in the colours you love and it also means you can play around with the shape until you are ready to invest. The higher price point pieces are those heirlooms, the pieces you hold dear to your heart. They are good quality and will really elevate your everyday wardrobe.
Thing to consider:
-The length: Crop styles are very useful if you want to wear with dresses and skirts and you like to give definition to your waist.
– If you have broader shoulders stick to the softer fabrics with less structure so as not to add bulk
– don’t worry about doing it up, they are generally designed to be worn open.
Wherever you buy it from if you find the right colour and fit, it will rarely be off your back.
